What we do at KidsPoint
Psychology and Mental Health
The KidsPoint Psychology and Mental Health Team are qualified in administering standardised assessments.
Psychology provides treatment, support and care for children and adults who are experiencing difficulty or require support with the mental health.
Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy
The KidsPoint Occupational Therapy team can provide functional assessments to help your child to achieve or maintain their maximum level of independence and to develop practical life skills so that they can reach their full potential
The KidsPoint Occupational Therapy team provide treatment, support and care for children who require functional day to day support.
Medical
KidsPoint is a private paediatric practice providing both specialist medical and allied health care from birth through to adolescence.
We specialise in Paediatrics, or paediatric medicine, which deals with the care of infants, children and adolescents, and their growth and development.
Speech and Language
KidsPoint Speech and Language therapists are qualified in administering standardised assessments to explore your child’s current abilities in both their understanding of language (receptive language) and use of language (expressive language). Lean more about these assessments.
Speech and language therapy provides treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, or with eating, drinking and swallowing.
Gynaecology
KidsPoint Obstetricians and Gynaecologists work with women to ensure they understand and are comfortable with the treatments we recommend. Our experience is extensive, and our approach is down-to-earth, using only everyday language that reflects our respect and empathy for the women in our care. We are passionate about maintaining a high standard of care within organisations and educating the next generation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to deliver high-quality, woman-centred care. Dr Louis Angelopoulos consults from the KidsPoint Specialist centre in North Gosford.
Education
Early childhood education is a crucial stage of life in terms of a child's physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.
KidsPoint works across Early Childhood settings including preschools, day-cares, out of school hours care and within Primary School setting
We look forward to working with you and your child in helping them achieve their potential at school and encourage a love of learning.
KidsPoint Babies
KidsPoint Babies is a screening and support group clinic for families from birth to 6 months of age.
The clinic is run monthly with a Midwife, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Psychologist.
Any new parents, no matter what number baby it is for them, who is needing extra support and guidance or is concerned about their childs development we can assist.
Other Services
DIETICIAN - We work with parents and their children to increase food variety, assist with growth concerns, address allergies or intolerances, manage gastrointestinal issues and improve overall health.
AUDIOMETRIST - KidsPoint provide an Audiometrist, specialising in the testing of children’s hearing (Audiology).
GROUP THERAPY - Cool Kids Program - A clinical program designed to provide practical skills to manage anxiety in children with ASD
