Leanie Eksteen
Leanie graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, with a Bachelors Degree in Occupational in 1993. She has since worked all over the world in diverse cultural communities and a variety of settings, providing services to all ages. In the last 15 years, she has focused her practice on her primary reason for becoming an OT: children and families.
She moved to the Central Coast in 2013 and loves the Australian bush, ocean and sunshine. She can be found biking, hiking, swimming, paddling, and playing in the outdoors with her family and friends in her free time. She values relationships and community and this is heavily reflected in her practice. She is raising three children and understands the challenges of parenting in our current day, and she aims to work within each family’s unique value system.
She enjoys working with children of all ages, but her special interest lies in the development of literacy skills, executive functioning, infant and toddler development. Her early years approach is play based, messy and hands-on, and for older kids, she approaches challenges from a cognitive approach.
Megan Fuller
Megan graduated from the University of Sydney, with a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1997. She worked in public health in Sydney in both hospital and community settings over a period of 10 years in a variety of areas including neurology, rehabilitation, lymphodema therapy and aged care assessment. After a career break to raise her 3 children, Megan is now enjoying specialising as a paediatric OT withing the multidisciplinary team at Kidspoint. She is passionate about working with children and families to support each child’s developmental growth, independence, and meaningful participation in daily life. Megan is particularly interested in sensory and emotional regulation, social skills, daily living skill development and gross motor and fine motor development. Megan has experience supporting children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental, neurodiverse, and physical needs across a variety of environments such as clinic, home, school and preschool environments to provide a holistic and a multi-disciplinary approach. Megan enjoys working closely with families, utilising a coaching approach to provide practical strategies that fit into daily routines at home, school, and in the community. She is committed to helping children build independence in daily living skills in a fun and supportive way.
Felicity Bath
Felicity graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Charles Sturt University in 2024. She is passionate about working with children and families to support each child’s developmental growth, independence, and meaningful participation in all activities. Felicity is particularly interested in sensory and emotional regulation, social skills, gross motor and fine motor development. She provides fun and engaging therapy sessions within the clinic, home or at school.
Felicity is looking forward to creating bonds with each child and their family. Felicity enjoys working in collaboration to provide individualised, and engaging interventions supporting children in achieving their goals. She is excited to further enhance her education and training within the paediatric domain of occupational therapy.
Felicity grew up on the Central Coast where you will often catch her outdoors, at the beach or camping with her friends and family. Felicity loves to play all types of sports and embraces an active lifestyle with enthusiasm.
Tinet Du Plessis
Tinet has a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, 2008. She is Sensory Integration trained and has 12 years’ work experience within the paediatric field. Her client group ranges from 0 - 18 years old with special interests in early intervention, planning difficulties and sensory processing difficulties. She is passionate about her work and helping children and their families. She acknowledges that play and playfulness are children’s main occupation and essential means to learn and grow and therefore considers herself the luckiest person to play for a living.
Tinet and her family have relocated to Australia and has been living in the Central Coast since January 2019. She loves being outdoors and spending quality time with her family. Being a mom of 2 young children, she understands the importance of a family-centred therapy approach. She strives to advocate for her little clients and empower their families with skills and knowledge to best understand and help their children.
Miranda Chase
Miranda graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Occupational Therapy from Auckland University of Technology in 2016. Miranda is now beginning her Paediatric OT career with us after gaining experience in work place rehabilitation both in New Zealand and Australia.
Miranda is very motivated to help kids unlock their potential and gain confidence in completing their everyday tasks. She has a keen interest in sensory and emotional regulation, social skills, gross and fine motor development and working with children to improve their daily living skills by providing fun and engaging goal oriented therapy. Miranda uses a family centred approach and aims to empower all caregivers in the child’s life to achieve the best outcomes. She looks forward to furthering her education and training within the paediatric domain of occupational therapy.
Outside of work, Miranda loves making the most of good weather by going hiking or surfing. She’s also a passionate Water Polo Player and has coached kids of various ages for the past 9 years.
Kate Miller
Kate is an occupational therapist who has worked with children, adolescents and adults on the central coast for over 15 years. She has more than 10 years experience in the disability sector providing services to people with physical and intellectual disabilities as well as those with ASD. She has worked extensively in clinic, home, school and preschool environments to deliver holistic services to her clients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Kate is passionate about helping children and adolescents (0-18) achieve their best potential and has particular interest in early intervention(0-5yrs).
Kate works with the parents of young children so they have the confidence and skills to assist their little ones to reach their goals. In working with older children and adolescents, Kate engages with the child in setting goals that are meaningful to them and to take increasing responsibility for their health and wellbeing. Kate loves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide children and their families with a holistic, person and family-centred approach. Having young children of her own she also understands the importance of making recommendations realistic for families. Kate is a registered occupational therapist with APHRA and a member of OT Australia.
Suszein Luansing
Suszein Andree Luansing is a dedicated Occupational Therapist who graduated from University of Batangas in 2020. Since then, she has dedicated her career to working in a pediatric setting, where she has developed a strong passion for supporting children’s growth and development through patient-centered and evidence-based interventions.
Growing up in the Philippines, Suszein developed a deep sense of empathy, resilience, and compassion, which she brings into her professional practice. She is known for her patience, understanding, and collaborative approach when working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Her genuine care and commitment allow her to build strong therapeutic relationships and create a positive and supportive environment that encourages progress and confidence among her clients.
Driven by her dedication to her profession, Suszein continuously strives to enhance her skills and knowledge to provide the highest quality of care. She is committed to helping individuals reach their fullest potential and making a meaningful impact on the lives of the children and families she serves.
Tom Marsh
Jani Mccabe
Jani is a dedicated paediatric occupational therapist who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2016. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent children in the early years, with a focus on school readiness and navigating sensory processing challenges. Her approach is grounded in the DIR Floortime model, using play-based therapy to foster connection and attachment within families. Jani enjoys working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, person- and family-centred care that meets each child’s unique needs.
As a mother of three, Jani brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work. She understands the everyday realities and unique pressures of parenting children with additional needs and is committed to offering realistic, achievable strategies that support families at home and in the community.
Having grown up in both New Zealand and Australia, Jani values time outdoors and enjoys spending quality time with her family. She is continually building her skills as a therapist and is passionate about empowering children and their families to thrive.

Bernice graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2021. She also obtained a Master’s in Business Administration with Healthcare Management from the University of Sunderland in 2025. She is also certified in Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI), in view of her interest in understanding how the unique interpretation of sensory information shapes one’s participation in daily life.
Bernice enjoys working older children and teenagers, and as an autistic individual herself, she strives to support neurodivergent youths in engaging successfully in their meaningful occupations.
Bernice has just moved to Central Coast in 2026, and is enjoying spending her free time exploring the state, knitting and playing the electric guitar.
